You’ll ride a 4WD jeep halfway up the volcano, cutting out the toughest part of the climb. From the drop-off point, it’s just a 45-minute trek to reach the 1717m summit — led by your own private guide.

Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with jaw-dropping views of the sunrise over Lake Batur, Mount Agung, and on clear days, even Mount Rinjani in Lombok. As the sun comes up, enjoy a warm, simple breakfast cooked with volcanic steam — a proper summit treat after the climb.

Tour Itinerary

• 1:45–2:45am: Pick-up from your hotel (depending on location)
• 4:00am: Arrive in Kintamani and hop into your private Jeep
• 4:30am: Jeep takes you to the halfway point of Mt Batur
• 5:30am: Reach the summit and waiting the sunrise with a light breakfast
• 7:00am: Trek back down to the Jeep
• 8:00am: Return to car park then optional visit to coffee plantation
• 10:30–11:00am: Return to your hotel (depending on location)
